About Jay
Jay Robinson is a seasoned NBA front office executive with over a decade of experience in sports business and sales. Known for his mentorship and passion for developing talent, he’s helped young professionals land roles with NBA teams and has led sessions at universities including Suffolk, Harvard, Bentley, and Boston College. He launched Robinson SP Consulting to give future leaders a direct path into the sports industry.
Our history
Robinson Sports Consulting was born from Jay's personal journey breaking into professional sports without insider access or industry connections. After years of learning the business, making mistakes, and figuring it out on his own, Jay saw a gap—too many talented students lacked the tools, exposure, and network to turn their passion for sports into a career. This business was created to bridge that gap. It’s about making sure others don’t have to figure it out alone.
